Raymond Reyes,
VP Strategic Solutions
SGM (Ret.), US Army

Sergeant Major (Ret) Reyes joins the Corvus Team in 2018 following 30 years of distinguished military service. Ray has combat and operational experience integrating electromagnetic warfare (EW) and spectrum management at the Army Division (82d Airborne Division), Army Corps (I Corps), Component Command (U.S. Air Forces Central Command), Joint Task Force (U.S. Forces-Iraq), Combatant Command (U.S. Central Command), and the Army Staff (G-3/5/7 and CIO/G-6) headquarter echelons.

While assigned to the Army Staff, he bridged problems from the operational force with solutions through the institutional Army. These actions resulted in plans, programming, and policies for tactical-level solutions managed by the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command and enterprise-level solutions managed by the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). During his tenure, Ray was also called upon as a subject matter expert in the Army's creation of their EW and Cyberspace Operations occupational career specialties.

In his previous role, he was a critical cog in the reorganization and re-designation of a DISA field command and the stand up of two geographically separated Cyberspace Operations Centers.
His work with the DISA Global Operations Command implemented the one-billion-dollar plus Joint Regional Security Stacks (JRSS), define today's enterprise defensive cyber operations (DCO) environment, integrate two Joint Force Headquarters - DoD Information Network (DoDIN) Cyber Protection Teams (CPT), and integrate a number of the 335th Signal Theater Command's Army Reserve Elements across the DISA enterprise. These efforts enabled the execution of 30 named cyberspace operations and transformed the field command into the global nucleus for DCO supporting the four-million user DoDIN.

Ray is a graduate of the National Defense University's Joint and Combined Warfighting School making him the Army's first noncommissioned officer to receive Joint Professional Military Education-II academic and development credit. Ray also holds a Bachelor of Business from Excelsior College.

His most notable awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star (2nd Award), Army Staff Identification Badge, Gold Recruiter Badge, Senior Parachutist Badge, Korean Basic Parachutist Badge, and the coveted Ranger Tab. Ray is a recipient of the U.S. Army Signal Corps Regimental Association's Silver Order of Mercury.
